Monday May 9th, British Pop Art course on Mondays face
to face in Bridport, 2pm, 6wks, fee £60, venue United Hall, East

The course is around the era of what becomes British Pop Art,
which originated in the UK.
We will be looking at a facinating group of painters in the
wider context of post war recovery and renewal. Some of the artists, designers
and photographers discussed will be: Edouardo
Paolozzi, Frank Bowling, Pauline Boty, David Hockney, Barbara Hulanicki, Joe
Tilson, R.B Kitaj, Derek Boshier, Patrick Caulfield, Bridget Riley, Mary Quant,
Marion Foale and Sally Tuffin, David Bailey, Allen Jones and Peter Blake,
plus wider contexts.
